Zetsy Payment Terms

The following terms (these “Payment Terms”) govern payments you make or receive through www.zetsy.one or www.zetsy.in (the “Sites”), operated by Bang Studio Private Limited (with its registered office at 23+24, 4th Cross, Nanjappa Garden, Babusapalya, Bangalore 560043, India).

Please read these Payment Terms carefully before making or receiving payments through the Site. By making or receiving payments through the Site, you accept and agree on behalf of yourself or on behalf of your employer or any other entity (if applicable), to be bound and abide by these Payment Terms. These Terms are supplemental to Zetsy’s General Terms of Service.

General

Bang Studio Private Limited (“Zetsy”) partners with Payment Services Providers for purposes of collecting all payments from Clients, transferring such payments from Clients to our service providers, and holding funds in connection with Zetsy Balances. All payments services in connection with the collection of funds on the Zetsy platform are performed by Zetsy’s third party Payment Services Providers.
In most locations, subscription, and other purchases on Zetsy can be made by using one of the following payment methods: Credit Card, or Direct Bank Wire Transfer. Additional payment methods may apply in certain locations. More information on available payment methods is available further below.
Your existing Zetsy Balance will be automatically applied to your next subscription fee or purchase.
You agree to receive invoices and/or payment receipts from Zetsy in electronic form as PDF documents, by email or through the Site.
To protect against fraud, unauthorized transactions (such as money laundering), claims, or other liabilities, payment information in connection with withdrawals is collected by either Zetsy or Zetsy’s Payment Services Providers. Payment Services Providers may also collect such other information as necessary for the purpose of processing withdrawal payments. Zetsy is not exposed to the payment information provided to Payment Services Providers, and this information is subject to the privacy policy applicable to the Payment Service Provider. By using any payment method and/or providing payment details for making purchases on Zetsy, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are legally authorized to provide such information; (b) you are legally authorized or have permission to make payments using the payment method(s); (c) if you are an employee or agent of a company or person that owns the payment method, you are authorized by that company or person to use the payment method to make payments on Zetsy; and (d) such actions do not violate any applicable law.
Filing a transaction dispute or reversing a payment through your payment provider or your bank is a violation of these Payment Terms. Doing so may get your account temporarily or permanently disabled. Note: Once you have filed a dispute with your payment provider, the funds may be ineligible for a refund as per these payment terms.
All transfer and assignment of intellectual property, or product license, to the Buyer shall be subject to full payment and the delivery may not be used if payment is canceled for any reason.

Payment Methods

Payment methods are dependent on your country of residence, and regulatory permissions. To see which methods are applicable to you, see the list below.

Credit/Debit Card

Make purchases using any major credit/debit card.

Wire Transfer

Electronic payment services for transferring funds by wire are accepted. Ex. SWIFT, the Federal Reserve Wire Network, or the Clearing House Interbank Payments System.

Autopay with a bank account [direct debit]

In some locations, you can pay for your Zetsy subscription by having Zetsy automatically deduct payments from your bank account (called direct debit). Just add the bank account to your Zetsy billing account and make it your primary payment method. After that, we’ll debit that account for your automatic payments. Note that bank accounts that only support disbursements are not accepted for payment.

Paying by bank account is available in the U.S., the U.K., and some other European countries. Auto-pay with a bank account (direct debit) is not available to EU accounts with Individual VAT Status.

e-mandate [India Only]

Mandate is a standing instruction to a bank to debit client’s account on a periodic basis for periodic transactions. Any amount over Rs.5000 will require two factor authentication. You must complete this authentication process at the renewal of each term for the subscription (Auto-enrolment) to remain active.

The payment providers you see on the checkout page are those available to you depending on your country of residence. We are limited by the list of countries where our third-party payment providers offer services.

Note: As we customers from more geographies, we are constantly adding new payment methods so stay tuned for updates.

Currencies

Depending on your location, you may have an option to pay in your local currency. Unless stated otherwise, you will be charged in the currency displayed on the payment page. All currency exchange services in connection with payments in local currencies are performed by Zetsy’s Payment Services Providers. In certain cases, however, when certain currencies are not supported by certain payment methods, you will be charged in US$ even if the price is displayed in another currency. In any event, the actual charged amount (in the actual payment currency) will be disclosed to you before you complete the payment.
With few exceptions, all prices on Zetsy are derived from their default prevailing US$ price and, therefore, non-US$ currency prices may change daily in accordance with exchange rate fluctuations and may also include conversion fees.
If you paid for a purchase in a currency other than US$ and your subscription or order was later canceled for any reason, the amount returned to your account would be based on the exchange rate as of the date of refund. Therefore, the returned amount may vary from the paid amount in local currency terms, while always maintaining the same US$ value.

Recurring Fees

You agree to pay the fees specified during registration in full at the beginning of each month prior to any services being rendered by Zetsy under this Agreement. You further agree to authorize Zetsy to automatically charge your method for the fee on each anniversary of your registration date, based upon your billing frequency (e.g., default monthly, or quarterly or annually, when available). Your account and access to services and files may be suspended in the event of non-payment of applicable fees. You represent and warrant to Zetsy that such billing information is accurate, up to date, and that you’re authorized to make the payment.

Zetsy Credits

In certain instances, Zetsy may offer you credits (“Zetsy Credits” or “Credits”), either for promotional purposes or otherwise, to be used for purchasing products, subscriptions and/or other services offered on the Site. Your available Credit balance will appear in your account. Your valid Zetsy Credits will be automatically applied to your next purchase and can be viewed in your order summary after you place the order. Unless stated otherwise, Zetsy Credits expire following 30 days from their receipt. Zetsy Credits serve only as an incentive to use Zetsy, and, therefore, are not redeemable for cash, have no cash value and are nonrefundable. Once used, Zetsy Credits may not be returned to your account even if your Order gets canceled. Zetsy Credits may be subject to additional conditions and restrictions as will be disclosed to You upon receipt of the Credits. Credits may be voided in the event of fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms. Zetsy reserves the right to modify or cancel the Zetsy Credits program at any time. If you or Zetsy deactivate or suspend your Zetsy account, any unused Zetsy Credits in your account will be forfeited.

Promo Codes

From time to time, we may offer you promo codes for purchasing products and/or other services offered on the Site, on special discounts. Promo Codes are valid only for purchases on Zetsy and are subject to different time limitations and will expire after their predefined term. To exercise your promo code, simply enter the code on the checkout page. If you fail to do so, your purchase will not be eligible for the discount. Promo codes are limited to one use per user and may not be used or combined with any other promotion. For orders that are composed of one or more milestones, the promo code will apply to the first milestone only. Promo Codes do not apply to Zetsy Credits. Promo codes may be subject to additional conditions and restrictions as will be disclosed to you upon receipt of the promo codes. Promo codes may be voided in the event of fraud, misuse, or violation of the Terms of Service. Zetsy reserves the right to modify or cancel promo codes at any time.

Taxes

Zetsy may be required by applicable laws to charge users with indirect taxes (such as Sales Tax, VAT or GST) or to withhold taxes. Any amount Zetsy will be required to collect will be in addition to the purchase amount and subscription fees payable by the Client.
Indirect taxes are in addition to the price shown on the site, and in any event, any such taxes will always be displayed to the Client before payment.
Users are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST, VAT, or income tax, which may apply to them depending on residency, location or otherwise, under provisions of their jurisdiction.

Subscription Cancellation and Refunds

It’s our goal to provide a quality service for our customers and ensure that you have a good experience with Zetsy. In the event Client wishes to terminate its relationship with Zetsy, Client shall provide Zetsy with written notice of its intent to terminate (“Client’s Notice”). Upon receipt of Client’s Notice by Zetsy, Zetsy shall cease all work to be performed on Client’s behalf and within 30-days of receipt of Client’s Notice, return Client’s installment payment remitted to Zetsy, based on the plan as follows:

Monthly Plan: Not eligible for refunds
Quarterly Plan: One-month pro-rata, only if more than 30 days is remaining in current subscription term
Annual Plan: For every month remaining in the subscription beyond current month of Client Notice, to a maximum of Six months.

Note: To prevent fraud and abuse, we limit the total number of times users can request a payment provider refund, which is subject to review by our customer support team. Refunds are subject to payment provider and currency conversion fees – typically 6-12%.

Modifications

Zetsy may make changes to these Payment Terms from time to time. When these changes are made, Zetsy will make a new copy of the terms available on this page.
You understand and agree that if you use Zetsy after the date on which the Payment Terms have changed, Zetsy will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Payment Terms.
